Why,you may ask,is this crazy woman so excited about rain?Because I have almost forgotten what it looks like that's why!We have had,not days,but months of over 100 degree days,as high as 105 without the heat index and no rain for 3 months,except for about 2 weeks ago we got3/4 of an inch.This is not normal for where we live.We have cracks in the ground here big enough to make Chihuahuas disappear down. No garden,no pasture.No canning veggies for winter and feeding lots of hay to unhappy critters.So here are a few quick picts of rain on a scorched land.
