Happy Valentines Day

This is me and Hubby in 1992 ! We had been married about a year! He was 22,I was 21. We were living in San Diego,Hubby was in the Navy, but we were in Texas visiting when this was taken. This year we will be married 19 years...this photo seems like yesterday!

We don't need a special day to show our love! I think all year long should be dotted with "Valentine" days! Hubby surprises me with flowers or other little things all the time! Showing you love your spouse even more with the passing of time, that is what it is all about! I hope all of you out there find  a love like mine, a love to grow old with!

Yeah, for us, everyday feels like Christmas, Valentines Day, etc (besides I think all that stuff is promoted for retail now anyway). In my heart I know that my husband would give me the moon if he could and that's all that matters.

Very true. Isn't it amazing how time flies when you are having fun? We have been married nearly 39 years, and tho there were/are times of trouble, the good far outweighs the bad. And I wouldn't trade mine for anything!

Wishing you a Happy Valentine's Day!

I enjoyed reading your posts. Love the photos! I had a lot of fun too with our animals when my girls were young. Now we are down to just Morgan and the chickens.

Thanks for commenting.

oops... I forgot to say...

I read about a farmer who put some long trays of some kind of crushed rock dirt stuff inside of the entrances to the chicken coop so the chickens had to walk in it and coat their muddy feet. No more muddy feet and eggs. Sounded like a neat idea, but I haven't got around to figuring out what the dirt stuff is or putting down the trays. I figure I could just build a wooden frame to hold the dirt. I like trying out new ideas.

Hi, so nice to meet you. I’m Yoli, a fellow “Texas Blogging Gal”. I made it my goal to visit each member’s Blog. I don’t want to just “drive-thru” to meet a quota, but instead to share the gift of friendship that God gives us all. I’m excited to read your inspirational stories and see your creative works. You are always welcomed at my Apron Senorita Blog.

Melody, I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day. I'm a single mom, so my Valentine's date were my teen kids! It was fun!! :)

God Bless You!

'Mornin! Thanks for your visit - just wanted to say that this is a really cute pic of you and your hubby. I love to look at old pictures and see how everyone has changed and the way styles have changed. Hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! I like your painted desert sheep, too. I was reading about them a few posts back. I think they make a good meat choice. I would love the meat as we are big venison eaters around here. Have a great week!
