FINALLY !

Woo Hooo! We have a successful goat birth! Nibbles has twins! Two bucks, and I am not even the slightest bit disappointed   that there was not a doe in there! I am just tickled pink to have mother and babies doing well!

One is big, really big, and one is small, probably average.

I wanted to call them Hoss and Little Joe ! I was a big Bonanza fan as a kid,I had the biggest crush on Little
Joe....... where was I..oh yeah, baby goaties! Anyways,The Boy is set on calling the little one Tube Sock! I know..Boys! He does have a tube sock goat coat!

The little one is solid white with maybe a beige ear. I know, who would have thought a black goat and a red goat would make a white baby! The mysteries of goatieness!

The big one is really pretty, light tan and white spotted!

He is already a rooter tooter! He was goatie goat dancing when he was just a couple hours old!

The little one is fine despite being smaller. He is eating good but sleeps more than his brother and is not quiet as frisky..yet!

They will be weathered and hopefully we can find homes for them as pets.I think weathers are the best pet goats. They don't come in heat for one,and they are usually very sweet. Any of you Houston area Texas Blogging Gals interested in getting a pet goatie just let me know!

Whenever we have had twins one was always smaller and a little slower to come around. But once it did - watch out!

Congratulations! They are both adorable.

I love them! You could always call them Hoss and Tube Sock Joe! hee hee I love how The Boy gives hugs and kisses to the goaties. If he were here I'd ask for a nice hug and a kiss from him too!

They are so precious. I'm beside myself with excitement. Twins are always special. I am sure they will find loving homes in two shakes of a lambs tail. :) Wishing I lived close and could be a goatie mommie. Of course, I need a home with property. Sigh...

Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures and happy news.

Congratulations!! So glad all is well, and they look to be pretty big actually! What fun when they start their twirly jumping running kicking play. I and a friend stood out by the pen today and watched the babies do their acrobatics today and just laughed. They are just TOO cute!

It's amazing how stressfull it is waiting for them to deliver healthy babies hoping and praying that mama and babies making it through without complications, always such a relief when they are done and all is well.
Nothing better then frolicking babies to make it feel like spring.

My goat Missy had baby boys too. Don't you just love them :O).
Regarding you comment on my site. You would not beleive how much better the selection is at the Lehman's store compaired to the catalog. The catalog dosen't even come close. And the store is so so cool!! They have a whole antique farm wagon hanging from the rafter in the ceiling, and when you first walk in, it is like walking into to a huge antique barn. It so great it takes your breath away. If you ever come up to Ohio you must go see it. And if you want let me know and I'll go with you. God bless
Kelly

I think it's a tie for sweetness, between the goaties and your son! It's wonderful to see such a loving and responsible boy. I'm sure you're very proud the The Boy!

I also want to thank you for the recent comments you left on my blog. They were just the encouragement I needed at that time :-)
