Memories of Green

First of all, I want to give a  big ole  THANK YOU to everyone that has entered my contest and to all my new friends who followed me!

There is not a lot to post about today because it is raining.I feel like I am 6 years old and the children's song is playing in my mind,"Rain, rain, go away......"

So I went back to look for some photos of last spring , just to remind myself it really existed!

The lovely green canopy that we live under...I miss you green umbrella!

This was the beginning of spring last year. These old oaks don't even have their big leaves yet!

Oh, garden how I long to till up your soil!

Little goatie Nibbles had green grass to romp on!

Butter Bean too!

It is hard to believe they are all grown up and big goaties now!

Well...as big as dwarf goaties get any how!

I didn't realize that those goats were miniatures! I think I saw two green leaves of a burrdock on a 1 foot square bare spot today! Spring is still a long way away up here!

It is hard to believe, but Spring is on its way. Some years we get late snows here in May or mid June. Nice to see all the green.

Call me a spoil sport but I am liking all this CA rain... It's been great with the extra wet weather for us. Ok just whack me up side the head now. ;)

We woke up in the drizzle too. I am tired of swinging from 76 degrees last week to mid-30s this week-so unusual for our area. Come on, Spring!!!
