Got Kittens?

Well,we sure do! 6 little kitties to be exact!

I am a big ,big  believer in spaying  and neutering your pets! These little cuties momma, that I creatively named Kitty, was  cruelly dumped off in the woods by our house and well...ya know how it goes!

Kitty will be making a trip to the vet in a few weeks and so will all these little fur balls when they are old enough.

All farms need cats right??! I will say kitty has taken care of our mice problem in the shed and to me she has already earned her keep in doing that!

The Boy has already claimed a favorite as his and named it Charcoal...I hope we  can find homes for a few of them ...but if we can't ...oh well ...I guess they will just stay here on the farm and dine on shed mice!

I love kittens. Those mouse hunters really do pay for themselves in pest control. Barbara(our outside cat) has been here a year and I haven't seen evidence of a mouse/rat since last winter. She too was a toss out.

Cute, cute, cute! I really don't like people that dump off animals. There has to be a special place for them when they die!

A tassel of adorable kitties is enough to brighten my day. I do have a thing for tabbies though... But I am on cat restriction since there are five feline beasts running around our place.

I want the cute gray one in the middle with blue , blue eyes. Seriously!!! Maybe we can meet in the middle. I have a kitten on hold for me at a pet store but she is still nursing. We lost one of our kitties to birds of prey. Our one cat is wonderful at catching all sorts of stuff for presents for us.

So, so, so cute.

Oh Melodie if you were closer !
what does kitty look like ? is she striped too ?
we have a kitty here ,she is striped and was a feral cat our ds found on the back alley already about 6months old .she is now 16yrs and she is wierd and crazy as the day we got her no one can believ she is that old ! she is so friskey and jumpy etc. appears to be maybe 2yrs at the most .
I've always grown with cats and yes a farm needs cats ☺
have fun ;-)

Rox,
Kitty is very young, probably around a year or less.Yes,she is striped too and very small! I have always had cats until The Boy was born,he was terribly allergic but he has has many years of allergy treatments and seems to be doing just fine with these! I would love for you to have a kitten or too if we were close, lol!

My husband is allergic but I would love a kitten especially if it would befriend our rather nervous doggie (he looks a bit like your rusty colored dog). He has some sort of anxiety issues or attachment disorder (as in failure to ever unattach). Unfortunately he has not taken to our bunny. :)

I like your attitude about finding them homes! They sure are cute.

It's a good thing there are too many miles between us or the tabby with the white front in the back would be mine.

oh, my dear! They are adorable! The little white and gray guy looks a lot like my darling Templeton when he was a baby.
You are in for a treat-they all look so sweet.
I hope you keep them all. But if you don't, I know you will find them terrific homes.
Shed mice diet sounds...delectable.

I agree, there is nothing cuter than a box of kittens, and I keep looking for and waiting to have a stray cat show up here at our house, and so far, after 3 years we haven't...Maybe it's a blessing in disguise because I'd keep themall! :-))

All the strays in the nearby town know that my ex-step-mother is the sucker in town! They have tons of cats and kittens hanging around there. My mom and sister are almost as bad. Okay, I have several cats, and all were rescues.

Ooooh, they are so cute! I'm glad that you found them and are taking good care of them. Nothing like a big box 'o kittens to make you smile, eh? :) Give them a big smoochie from Aunt Lin!

Hmmmm. Mighty kind of you to give that kitty momma home. We surely know about cat allergies, one of the DD's is highly allergic and one of our son in laws is as well. Anyway, our two ancient kitties have passed on and the other is living in our bunny barn and teaming up with a rescue kitty exterminating the mice. We adopted 3 little abandoned feral cats from barn cats incorp. but they wouldn't hang around, I think the LGD's scared them, even though they took off, I fed them anyway, as they'd sneak back and then leave, but haven't seen them in awhile. Anyway, my DW has been wanting a little kitten for the house and I would be interested in adopting one of the litter at your place. We're in North Texas, but I'm not sure where y'all are. Anyway, just a thought.
