Three Question Wednesday

Do chickens even realize when  they have laid a tiny little egg like this?

Do they hang their little feathered heads in shame while the  other  hens cackle and laugh at them?

When this happens do they secretely look for a little blue pill for natural chicken egg enhancement?

Yee-Haw in the barnyard funny, laugh out loud, and good for you fun-ny. Good clean chicken egg humor at it's best.

Poor Henny Penny must be a bit sad. She'll try to lay big ole' eggy next time.

Made me smile and lol. Thanks!

Have a great day. Iced tea and garden salad time. :)

lol that is a do tiny tiny egg. I do wonder myself if the chicken feels embarrassed about the egg .

If I was a chicken, I would take it as a blessing to have laid a smaller egg for a change.....ah-h-h. I could ignore all the laughter from the others quite easily.

Heh heh.
We love the little mini-eggs. We give them to our one egg customer with children. They think they are cool.

You are too funny

Must have been something in the air, one of our hens laid a tiny egg like that too! I haven't taken a picture yet, but planned to blog about it also. Made me wonder if our banty is really a rooster, but even so, they aren't old enough to lay eggs yet.

Funny! I sometimes wonder if they even feel it coming. But then they must because the ones I have gotten have been in the nest box. Who knows what they think when they turn around and look at what came out. Maybe it is the other way around and they go brag about it to all the girls.

I keep getting one tiny egg about once a week. I don't know who or why. How funny! Maybe it's a new chicken illness that they are other than tiny eggs.

We've not seen the mini eggs! Only the weird jumbos! Conversely do the jumbo egg layers strut around? Hee hee.

Those chickens are smiling 'cuz their butts don't hurt! :) I never realized that they can lay different sized eggs!

Hang their heads in shame to pop out such a small egg? Heck, NO! They probably thought, "Whew! That was easy! Wish they all were!"

Enjoyed reading through all of your posts.
