When I was a teenager I had a 15 pound angora rabbit trained to go in the litter box and live like a cat in the house. She chewed a couple of electric wires until she learned not to. But the end came when she would deliberately hop up on my sister's bed and leave her little brown presents. My sister was mean to her and the rabbit let her know how she felt about it. I was going to raise them for meat but someone told me that their meat is so low in protein that it wasn't worth it. I add that to the kill factor and I shy away. I admire you for being able to do the deed. To me they are worth the fertilizer alone! They are some pooping machines!Melodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03795916460978775241noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934241482178099189.post-24590905535622382802010-01-31T17:51:00.065-06:002010-01-31T17:51:00.065-06:00Rabbits, you have Rabbits!! Maybe I could do like Pricilla and barter the Fiber for something we could use! Then the Rabbits would be contributing to our lively hood! And as you say good fertilizer :O)...Texanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560812716080117867noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934241482178099189.post-40929997761184327622010-01-31T13:06:33.965-06:002010-01-31T13:06:33.965-06:00lovely photoslovely photosJohn Going Gentlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14958171262765033946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934241482178099189.post-26197829485762255292010-01-31T12:35:29.888-06:002010-01-31T12:35:29.888-06:00I had my first rabbit this year.
